Strategic Initiative: Amata Grove was a 'real world' UX design project in which I was a founder. The project is centered around a 6500 square foot off-grid adobe house in Lyons, Colorado.  I created a business plan and assembled a team of investors to develop an eco retreat center that includes permaculture practices, year-round hydroponics farming, and an incubator for local food-based start-ups. 

Result: The project has received great community support and is now running with an onsite manager and team. Further funding in 2018 allowed a downtown location to be acquired to distribute food and provide sustainable food education and cultural experiences.
